OYADDERDisleksi, zekâ düzeyi normal ya da yüksek olan bireylerde okuma, yazma ve dil işlemede kalıcı güçlüklerle kendini gösteren nörogelişimsel bir öğrenme farklılığıdır. Hastalık değil, farklı bir öğrenme biçimidir. Genellikle okul öncesi ya da ilkokul döneminde fark edilir.
Disleksi Belirtileri
Belirtiler yaşa göre değişebilir:
Okul Öncesi: Konuşmada gecikme, sağ-sol karıştırma, kafiye kuramama
Okul Çağı: Harf karıştırma, yavaş okuma, yazım hataları, okuduğunu anlamada güçlük
Ergenlik/Yetişkinlik: Yavaş okuma, not alma zorluğu, yazılı sınavlarda düşük başarı
Nedenleri
Disleksi çoğunlukla genetik geçişlidir. Beyin yapısındaki farklılıklar ve bazı çevresel faktörler de etkili olabilir. Zekâ, yetiştirme tarzı veya sosyoekonomik durumla ilgisi yoktur.
